Abstract

It is known that education has been extremely important in people's lives in all periods of history. In addition to increasing the role of education, the global challenges of the modern era, the 21st century, have turned all the issues that need to be solved in this field into the priority direction of the state and society. In the era we live in, the competitiveness and hopeful future of every nation is directly related to achievements in the field of education. It is not accidental that the declaration of the 21st century by the UN as the "Educational Century" is actually a serious message addressed to humanity. Today, in the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is proudly celebrating the 32nd anniversary of its independence, education is one of the most priority areas of state policy. As in all fields in our republic, comprehensive development in the field of education was initiated by national leader Heydar Aliyev. It is no exaggeration to say that this powerful personality, possessor of rare intelligence, has become a living legend of all the periods in which he lived and worked.
