dc.description.abstractEnsuring a safe working regime is being remained as one of the main points in modern world. Industrial facilities consist of wide range of variables. According to the working functions and constructions of each unit, a different number of closing structures are used. The closing units used in the industry are mainly divided into globe, gate, and butterfly valves. The reasons of their failures are generally united in the issue of pressure resistance. The research work is devoted to the issue of pressure resistance of improved valve construction, which is included in the class of closing units. The improved new valve cone structure was proposed, and the proposal was studied based on the solidworks program, its stem body's resistance to excess pressure were conducted via 3D simulation tests, and the valve's safety performance was confirmed. The condition of hermetic closure of the valve unit was determined at the result of calculation and it was found out that the proposed valve construction fully satisfies the hermetic condition which was chosen. It has been determined that proposed design for the improved valve construction has a safe working process.en_US
