In the presented article, the deemulsification process of water-oil emulsions with aggregative and kinetic stability, the freezing temperature of heavy oil samples, dynamic viscosity, and also the progress of the research conducted on the corrosion rate in hydrogen sulphide formation water and the analysis of new experimental results were reflected. Thus, for the first time, a multi-functional composition with a conventional name A-3 with a complex effect was prepared in laboratory conditions using reagents of various purposes, and its properties were studied. Heavy oil samples such as Muradkhanli and Umbaki with stable water-oil emulsion were used as the research object. Both oil samples are heavy oils and differ in the amount of asphaltene-resin-paraffin compounds, which are high-molecular components. In particular, since the amount of asphaltene-resin-paraffin components in Umbakı oil is higher, its density and viscosity are higher than Muradkhali oil. This suggests that Umbaki oil is rheologically more complex heavy oil. It should be noted that since both oils have a lot of heavy components, the emulsions formed by these oils with reservoir water are aggregatively and kinetically stable. The effect of the new composition on the deemulsification process of both crude oil samples at different temperatures, on the freezing temperature and dynamic viscosity of commodity and samples with different degrees of dilution was studied. Also, the effect of A-3 composition on the corrosion rate in hydrogen sulphide formation water was also studied. A-3 composition is multifunctional and has a complex effect, and its optimal consumption rate is 600g/t. Thus, based on the analysis of the results obtained from the tests performed in laboratory conditions, it is recommended to use the new A-3 composition as an economically and ecologically efficient reagent in the deemulsification of heavy oils in mining conditions and at the same time in the corrosion protection of the internal surface of transport preparation facilities.en_US
